SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Bahubali 2, in on a roll in both domestic and international markets. After posting a humongous total (121 crores net) on its opening day, the movie continued its juggernaut on the second day. Almost all the theaters across the nation are witnessing more than 90% occupancy as moviegoers are interested to know – why did Katappa kill Bahubali?
According to the box office reports, the collection of the movie is similar to day one in almost all the regions. As expected, it witnessed a small drop in the collection in Telugu region, but other regions saw unprecedented collection. The Hindi version of the movie enjoyed a small growth in the collection and it amassed approx. 42 crores on first Saturday. The earning of the movie on first Saturday is approx. 100-101 crores (including all languages). Thus, the net collection of the movie after 2 days stands at 221 crores. The Hindi version of the movie has already shattered the opening record of Bollywood by surpassing the collection of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Looking at the booking record on bookmyshow, it seems that film will create history in Hindi regions, too.
