Ittefaq Shows Growth on Saturday | Second Day Box Office Collection

Akshaye Khanna’s latest thriller film Ittefaq witnessed some growth in the collection on its first Saturday. The film had a below average opening on Friday, so even a smaller growth is a positive sign for it in the long run. The budget of the film is about 20 crores and the makers did not spend too much for its promotion, so it has to rely on word of mouth publicity to recover its cost.Ittefaq Shows Some Growth on Saturday
As per the box office reports, the film collected 5.50 crores on the second day to take its total domestic box office collection to 9.55 crores. The daily collection of the film in the first week is as follows: Fri 4.05 cr, Sat 5.50 cr.

The growth in the collection compared to Friday is more than 35%, which means Sunday collection will be even bigger. If the film can touch 15-16 crores in the first weekend, it will become a profitable venture in the very first week. It has competitions from big movies like Golmaal Again and Thor, so 35% growth can be termed as an excellent growth. The film might have a tough time during weekdays because of an average weekend. If we go by the current trend at the box office, it seems that the lifetime collection may be 26-27 crores.
