Sridevi and Akshaye Khanna starrer Indian thriller film Mom had a good first weekend considering the fact that the movie does not have any big star. The film had a poor opening on Friday, but it witnessed a significant growth in the collection over the weekend and as a result of that, it could post a decent total in the very first weekend.
As per the box office reports, the movie garnered Fri 2.90 cr, Sat 5.08 cr, and Sun 6.42 cr to take its total domestic box office collection to 14.4 crores after 3 days. The footfalls on Monday was more than that on Friday, but because of less ticket price, it collected 2.52 crores on fourth day.

Looking at the current trend at bookmyshow, it seems that the film is heading for 25 crores in the first week.
