Kaas Plateau – Maharashtra’s Valley of Flowers

The Kaas Plateau aka the “Kaas Pathar” is a plateau located in the Western Ghat Sahyadri range, 22 kilometers from Satara city in Maharashtra and is known for various types of wild flowers which bloom during August-September every year. The place has more than 850 different species of flowers and other plants including Orchids, Karvy and carnivorous plants such as Drosera Indica. Meenakshi Amman Temple at Night

Meenakshi Amman Temple is a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River in the temple city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The temple forms the heart and lifeline of the 2,500-year-old city of Madurai and is a significant symbol for the Tamil people. It was on the list of top 30 nominees for the “New Seven Wonders of the World”. The temple is the most prominent landmark and most visited tourist attraction in the city. Beautiful Himalayan Range in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand

Ranikhet is a hill station and cantonment town in Almora district in Uttarakhand. It is the home for the Military Hospital, Kumaon Regiment (KRC) and Naga Regiment and is maintained by the Indian Army. The Haunted Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan

The Bhangarh Fort is a 17th-century fort built by Man Singh I for his grandson Madho Singh I. It was named by Madho Singh after his grandfather Man Singh or Bhan Singh. It is located on the way to Alwar and Jaipur in Rajasthan. There is a story about the fort that there was a black magic sorcerer who cursed the residents of the palace that they all would die an unnatural death and their spirits will stay there for centuries to haunt the fort forever. Spectacular Ranthambore Fort, Rajasthan

Ranthambore Fort is in the Ranthambore National Park, near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajsthan. The park was one of hunting grounds of the Maharajahs of Jaipur until 1947. The fort is known for the glory and valor of Hammir dev of the Chauhan dynasty. In 2013, Ranthambore Fort, along with 5 other forts of Rajasthan, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.
