After doing an excellent business in first five days, Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha finally slowed down on Wednesday. The collection on sixth day did not drop drastically; it was as per the expectation. The movie has been earning in double digits because of holidays, so it was expected that the collection will come in single digit once the holidays are over.
As per the box office reports, the movie added 6.50 crores to its kitty on Wednesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 89.95 crores after six days. The daily collection of the film is as follows:
Day 1: 13.10 Crores, Day 2: 17.10 Crores, Day 3: 21.25 Crores, Day 4: 12 Crores, Day 5: 20.00 Crores, Day 6: 6.50 Crores
#ToiletEkPremKatha is a SMASH HIT… Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 17.10 cr, Sun 21.25 cr, Mon 12 cr, Tue 20 cr, Wed 6.50 cr. Total: ₹ 89.95 cr. #TEPK

Thursday is a partial holiday in some regions of India, which might help the film in remaining steady on Thursday. It would a difficult task for the film to garner 10 crores on Thursday, so the century will not come in the first week, however, TEPK is going to be the highest first week grosser for Akshay Kumar. No big movie is going to hit the screens on Friday, so TEPK may remain the first choice for moviegoers. If the film could manage 23-25 crores in the second weekend, it can then easily touch 150 crores mark. So, the second weekend is very crucial for the lifetime collection of the film.
