Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer sci-fi action movie 2.0 is showing no sign of sluggishness at the ticket windows even during the weekdays. The film has become one of those few films that could successfully convert good word of mouth into business.
As per the box office reports, 2.0 (Hindi) earned 9.50 crore on Wednesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 132 crore after 7 days. The film has become the third biggest grosser (domestic) for Akshay Kumar if we take the collection of only Hindi version into consideration. Overall, it has grossed about 512 crore worldwide (India: 387 Crore, Overseas: 125 Crore). The Hindi version should cross 140 crore by the end of the first week. It will lose its 2D screens on Friday because of new release Kedarnath, however, the count of 3D shows should remain intact.
