Amavas is Disaster in First Weekend | Manikarnika Surpasses 90 Crore

The new release of this week Amavas failed to impress moviegoers and as a result of that, the film could not cross even 3 crore in the very first weekend. The film does not feature any big name and Uri wave is at its peak at the box office. So the collection is along the lines of expectations.

Amavas is Disaster in First Weekend | Manikarnika Surpasses 90 Crore

As per the box office reports, the film earned merely 2.25 crore in first three days at the domestic box office. The daily collection during the weekend is less than 1 crore, which means the film may not cross even 5 crore in its lifetime.

The box office collection of Amavas is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 0.65 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 0.75 cr
Sunday (Day 3): ₹ 0.85 cr
Total: ₹ 2.25 cr Disaster

Kangana Ranaut’s latest film Manikarnika did decent business in its third weekend. Vicky Kaushal’s Uri has affected Manikarnika very badly, otherwise, it would have crossed 100 crore in the Indian market. As per the box office reports, the film garnered 7.15 crore in the third weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 91.70 crore after 17 days. Although makers will be in profit, distributors may not earn a good profit as the lifetime collection should settle at 98-102 crore.

Week 1: ₹ 61.15 cr
Week 2: ₹ 23.40 cr
Friday (Day 15): ₹ 1.25 cr
Saturday (Day 16): ₹ 2.65 cr
Sunday (Day 17): ₹ 3.25 cr
Total: ₹ 91.70 cr Average+
