Badhaai Ho Remains First Choice on Second Friday – AndhaDhun Slows Down

Ayushmann Khurrana’s both films, Badhaai Ho and AndhaDhun,  have been doing good business since their opening days. AndhaDhun had started on a slow note, but it did not witness a significant drop even in the second week. As a result of that, it scored a half-century in two weeks. On the other hand, Badhaai Ho had a flying start and is now heading towards 100 crore. Badhaai Ho Remains First Choice on Second Friday - AndhaDhun Slows Down

As per the box office reports, Badhaai Ho earned 3.40 crore on second Friday to take its total domestic box office collection to 69.50 crore after 9 days. Although 8 new movies hit the screens this week, but none could deter  Badhaai Ho’s box office domination. It remained the first choice for moviegoers in its second week. Saif’s Baazaar may give it a tough fight in Mumbai and Gujarat regions, but it should lead the collection due to other regions and should earn 13-15 crore in the second weekend.

The box office collection of Badhaai Ho is as follows:
Week 1: ₹ 66.10 cr
Friday (Day 9): ₹ 3.40 cr
Total: ₹ 69.50 Super Hit

AndhaDhun has slowed down in its fourth week and the collection is coming in lakh now. The film may miss 70 crore in its lifetime if the collection does not grow during the weekend. However, it should cross 65 core without any hurdle. It earned 65 lakh on fourth Friday to take its total domestic box office collection to 62.20 core after 22 days. Unlike Badhaai Ho, Andhadhun has a limited audience. So, a big number was never expected.

The box office collection of AndhaDhun is as follows:
Week 1: ₹ 27.65 cr
Week 2: ₹ 22.65 Cr
Week 3: ₹ 11.25 Cr
Friday (Day 22): ₹ 0.65 cr
Total: ₹ 62.20 cr Super Hit
