Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest film Bareilly Ki Barfi is performing really well at the box office despite facing competitions. Though the film did not have a great opening, it was able to maintain its pace due to a superb story. The film had a tough competition from TEPK and Annabelle: Creation, so its collection remained at the lower end in the first week.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 1.30 crores on second Friday to take its total domestic box office collection to 20.02 crores after 8 days. The daily collection of the film is as follows:
Day 1 : 2.42 crores, Day 2: 3.95 crores, Day 3: 5.15 crores, Day 4: 1.90 crores, Day 5: 2 crores, Day 6: 1.65 crores, Day 7: 1.65 crores, Day 8: 1.30 crores

The film lost some of its screens to new release Gentleman in its second week, but the collection did not fall below a crore, which is a good sign for the film. Looking at the current trend, it seems that 25 crores should be an achievable target for the film at the end of second weekend. The new release did not get the expected number of footfalls, which means Bareilly Ki Barfi will continue its journey without any hindrance. If it could manage 25 crores, the lifetime collection may be 32-35 crores.
