Shraddha Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s latest release Batti Gul Meter Chalu did find any taker after the first week. The film had a below average opening week and competition from new releases affected it very badly after the first week. It had got bad ratings from many critics and word of mouth publicity was also weak. The daily collection has come down to 10-15 lakh which means it is about to end its box office journey this week.
As per the box office reports, the film earned merely 50 lakh in first four days of the third week. The total domestic box office collection of the film has reached 40.68 crore after eighteen days.

Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan starrer Sui Dhaaga has also dropped in its second week and it will fail to score a century at the box office. Sriram Raghavan directorial Andhadhun has affected Sui Dhaaga in the second week, otherwise, it would have performed much better. As per the box office reports, the film earned 1.35 crore on second Monday to take its total domestic box office collection to 73.05 crore after eleven days. It should finish its box office journey at 80-82 crore.
