After posting a humongous total on Wednesday due to the national holiday, Salman Khan’s Bharat witnessed about 27% drop in the collection on Thursday. Although some regions had extended holiday, working day in Mumbai and Delhi/NCR affected the collection.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 31 crore on Thursday to take its total domestic box office collection to 73.30 crore after 2 days. It has now scored a half-century in just 2 days, so the century will come in the next 1-2 days. The film has got good ratings from many critics, but word of mouth (WOM) publicity is not very encouraging. The collection may again decline on Friday as the occupancy seems low as per bookmyshow.com. Also, average WOM will affect the collection of the film during weekdays. However, 140+ crore weekend will help it to get HIT tag in its lifetime.
The box office collection of Bharat is as follows: Wednesday (Day 1): ₹ 42.30 cr Thursday (Day 2): ₹ 31.00 cr Total: ₹ 73.30 cr
