Salman Khan’s new release Bharat beat the opening collection of all his previous movies. As it was a national holiday on Wednesday, the film witnessed a huge occupancy in all centers. Despite losing a few crore in the evening because of the world cup match between India and South Africa, Bharat crossed 40 crore on day one.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 42.30 crore on Wednesday. Many critics have given good ratings to the movie, but moviegoers’ feedback is not very exciting. The film is all set to cross 100 crore in 3-4 days and may even go past 135+ crore in its extended first weekend. Unlike Tubelight and Race 3, Bharat should easily cross 200 crore. However, 300 crore will depend on its performance during the second weekend.
The box office collection of Bharat is as follows:
Wednesday (Day 1): ₹ 42.30 cr
Total: ₹ 42.30 cr
