As expected, Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn starrer De De Pyaar De witnessed about 45% jump in the collection on Saturday. Moviegoers have appreciated the content; therefore Sunday collection may be even bigger.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 13.39 crore on first Saturday to take its total Indian box office collection to 23.80 crore after two days. Since it features big names, its box office performance is still below expectations. Movies featuring big stars are expected to amass 50+ crore in the first weekend, but De De Pyaar De will not reach even 40 crore. The positive response from moviegoers may help the film during weekdays, but 100+ crore seems a bit difficult now.
