Dhadak Steady on Wednesday | Day 6 Box Office Collection

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter’s Dhadak, which is a Bollywood remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, is all set to score a half-century at the box office in its first week. Despite the mixed reviews by critics, the film has been enjoying a good number of footfalls since its opening. Dhadak Steady on Wednesday | Day 6 Box Office Collection

As per the box office reports, the film earned 4.06 crores on first Wednesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 48.01 crores after 6 days. The drop in the collection during weekdays is normal, so it should be able to amass about 3.50 crores on Thursday to cross 50 crores mark in its first week.

Sharing the latest box office figures of Dhadak, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Dhadak is STEADY on Wed… Week 1 total is looking at ₹ 51.50 cr [+/-], which is HUGE for a film starring newcomers… Fri 8.71 cr, Sat 11.04 cr, Sun 13.92 cr, Mon 5.52 cr, Tue 4.76 cr, Wed 4.06 cr. Total: ₹ 48.01 cr. India biz.

Dhadak will lose its momentum in the second week because of new releases, however, if those new films fail to impress the audience, Dhadak will again become the first choice at the ticket counters. A large percentage of the collection of the movie is coming from Maharashtra and Gujarat regions; other regions’ contribution is very minimal. Therefore, the film could not put a bigger figure in its first week. The film features two new faces Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter and budget is also small (about 45 crores), so 60+ crores collection will give it HIT tag.

The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 8.71 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 11.04 cr
Sunday (Day 3): ₹ 13.92 cr
Monday (Day 4): ₹ 5.52 cr
Tuesday (Day 5): ₹ 4.76 cr
Wednesday (Day 6): ₹ 4.06 cr
Total: ₹ 48.01 cr
