Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend could not pull moviegoers to the theaters in second weekend because of poor content. The drop in the collection in second weekend compared to first weekend is approx. 80%, which can be termed as disastrous decline. The first weekend collection was less than 50 crores, so such decline has marred the lifetime prospect of the movie.
As per the box office reports, the movie garnered Fri 1.76 cr, Sat 2.01 cr, and Sun 2.35 cr. to take its total domestic box office collection to 55.31 crores after 10 days. Hindi Medium, which was released on the same date, outperformed Half Girlfriend in second weekend.

A movie with good content always performs better than any masala movie in long run and Hindi Medium and Half Girlfriend are good examples of this theory.
