After setting a new record of the highest opener for Bollywood movies, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War became the first Bollywood film of 2019 to cross 400 crore mark worldwide. The film has been winning hearts in all regions since its opening day and earned a whopping ~100 crores in the overseas markets.
It has amassed ~313 crores at the Indian box office in just 27 days and is now heading towards 315+ crores. It should surpass the lifetime collection of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan in the fifth weekend. Thus, it will become the fifth highest grosser (India only) Bollywood movie. The box office juggernaut of War hit a roadblock on Friday because of Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4, otherwise, it may have gone past 320 crores in its lifetime.
The gross collection of War is as follows:
India Gross Collection: ₹ 373 cr
Overseas Gross Collection: ₹ 100 cr
Worldwide Gross Collection: ₹ 473 cr (After 27 days)
