Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer thriller film, Ittefaq, showed positive growth over the weekend because of its excellent content. Had the film been promoted well, it would have done much better at the box office. The budget of the film is about 20 crores, so it may land in safe zone after the first week.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 16.05 crores in the first three days of week one. The daily collection of the film so far is as follows: Fri 4.05 cr, Sat 5.50 cr, Sun 6.50 cr.

The film is going to witness some drop in the collection during weekdays but it has potential to cross 21 crores in the very first week. The large percentage of the collection came from Mumbai regions, whereas the north regions with a large number of multiplexes failed to show any positive sign. The movie was made for the multiplex audiences, but it failed to bring them to the theaters and therefore it had an average weekend. No big movie is going to hit the screens in November, so it has few more days to improve its lifetime collection.
