Kabir Singh Becomes Biggest Grosser of 2019 | Article 15 Scores Half-century

As expected, Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh surpassed the lifetime collection of Uri in the third week and is now heading towards another milestone. The film has been on a rampage at the box office since its opening day and has done excellent business in all regions.

As per the box office reports, the film earned 3.11 crore on third Wednesday to take its total Indian box office collection to 246.28 crore after 20 days. It should go past 250 crore on the fourth Friday. Because of new release Super 30, Kabir Singh will slow down in its fourth week. But it may reach 275-280 crore in its lifetime.

Week 2: ₹ 78.78 cr
Friday (Day 15): ₹ 5.40 cr
Saturday (Day 16): ₹ 7.51 cr
Sunday (Day 17): ₹ 9.61 cr

Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest movie Article 50 dropped significantly in its second week. Although the film got good ratings from both critics and moviegoers, its controversial story kept the audience away from theaters. However, the film has so far collected 50.83 crore because of Ayushmann Khurrana. It will lose a large number of screens in the third week, so the lifetime collection will be in the range of 60 to 65 crore.
