Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh posted an excellent total in its first weekend at the Indian box office. The film witnessed steady growth during the weekend and as a result of that, it scored a big half-century in just three days.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 27.91 crore on first Sunday to take its total domestic box office collection to 70.83 crore after 3 days. If it could maintain the momentum during weekdays, it may reach 100 crore in the very first week. Although the first-weekend collection is huge, the trend during weekdays will give an idea of the lifetime collection.
The film enjoyed >75% occupancy on Sunday, but because of the low ticket price, it could not cross 30 crore. Had the ticket price been hiked, it would have reached 85-90 crore in the very first weekend.
The box office collection of Kabir Singh is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 20.21 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 22.71 cr
Sunday (Day 3): ₹ 27.91 cr
Total: ₹ 70.83 cr
