Dulquer Salman, Irrfan Khan, and Mithila Palkar starrer Karwaan remained steady in the second weekend, but it failed to cross 2 crores mark any day. Like other releases of the last week, Karwaan also had one of the poorest openings and due to that, it is now struggling to post a decent total at the box office. As per the box office reports, the film collected 4.15 crores in the second weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 16.20 crores after 10 days. The box office journey of the film might end today as two big movies, Gold and Satyamev Jayate, will grab most of the screens. Both new releases have received good ratings from movie critics and if those good ratings convert into business, Karwaan and Mulk will find no takers at the ticket counters. The budget of both Mulk and Karwaan is about 20 crores, so they need to cross the 20 crores mark to become average movies. Though the target seems unachievable, we need to wait for the word of mouth for new releases to know the lifetime prospect of Mulk and Karwaan.
The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Week 1: ₹ 12.05 cr
Friday (Day 8): ₹ 0.90 cr
Saturday (Day 9): ₹ 1.50 cr
Sunday (Day 10): ₹ 1.75 cr
Total: ₹ 16.20 cr Below AVERAGE
