When the critics’ reviews came out, it looked like Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Kedarnath might be in a big trouble at the box office. But now it seems that the movie is behaving like a Salman Khan movie and has defied the verdict of critics. In fact, it has become the first choice for the moviegoers.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 9.75 crore on Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 17 crore after 2 days. As the word of mouth publicity is good, the film should continue its upward journey even on Sunday. Now it looks like it might get close to 30 crore figure in its first weekend. As the majority of the collection is coming from Delhi and Mumbai regions, it would be interesting to see how does it perform during the weekdays.
