Akshay Kumar’s action-war film Kesari started on a positive note on its opening day. Despite the fact that the majority of shows start late in the afternoon because of Holi celebration, makers decided to release the film on Holi. However, the film posted a good total on its first day because of 75-90% occupancy in the evening and night shows.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 21.50 crore on Thursday and became the biggest opener of the year. If it had been a normal holiday, the film would have amassed 38-40 crore on its opening day. Except one or two, all critics have given 3.5+ rating to the movie and the word of mouth publicity is also extremely positive. The collection may witness some decline on Friday as it’s a normal day, but it seems that the weekend is going to be humongous. The opening weekend collection may be 80-100 crore.
The box office collection of Kesari is as follows: Thursday (Day 1): ₹ 21.50 cr Total: ₹ 21.50 cr
