Despite receiving positive reviews from both critics and moviegoers, Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal starrer Manmarziyan failed to do any wonder at the ticket windows. The film did not get the desired number of footfalls in its first weekend, so poor second week was on cards.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 5.05 crore in the second week to take its total domestic box office collection to 26.45 crore after 14 days. The average daily collection in the second week is less than 1 crore. Varun Dhawan’s Sui Dhaaga will release this week, so Manmarziyaan has a very little chance to cross 30 crore in its lifetime.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of the movie on twitter. “#Manmarziyaan witnesses a sharp 76.40% decline in Week 2… [Week 2] Fri 81 lakhs, Sat 1.22 cr, Sun 1.20 cr, Mon 51 lakhs, Tue 47 lakhs, Wed 44 lakhs, Thu 40 lakhs. Total: ₹ 26.45 cr. India biz.“, he wrote.
