Tom Cruise’s latest offering Mission: Impossible – Fallout is turning out to be a good success story as the collection witnessed more than 30% jump on Saturday with respect to Friday. Riding on positive word of mouth, the Hollywood action thriller is now heading towards a big total in its opening week in India.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 13.15 crores on Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 23.00 crores after 2 days. The previous part of MI franchise, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, had collected 26.90 crores in its opening weekend. The latest part, MI – Fallout, should beat that number by a huge margin.
The huge opening weekend will make sure that the film is going to be the biggest earner in the franchise and if it could maintain the momentum during weekdays, it should not have any hurdle in crossing 75 crores in its lifetime.
The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 9.85 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 13.15 cr
Total: ₹ 23.00 cr
