Mulk is one of the three Bollywood movies that hit the screens this week. Like the other two, Mulk also had an awful opening on Friday. The film got good ratings from movie critics, but those positive notes did not convert into business. Now it needs an unprecedented growth over the weekend to post a decent total in its lifetime. With so many films at the ticket windows, it’s going to be an uphill task.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 1.55 crores on its opening day. The film features some big names, so such low collection will definitely mar its lifetime prospect at the box office. The film has a controversial storyline, so it would be interesting to see whether or not it can attract moviegoers over the weekend. It stars Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in important roles.
The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 1.55 cr
Total: ₹ 1.55 cr
