The excellent word of mouth has started converting into business for Rajkummar Rao’s latest film Newton. The film had a poor opening on Friday, but the collection witnessed more than 150% growth on Saturday and as a result of such huge growth, it was able to beat its competitors in the first weekend.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 1.31 crores on Monday to take its total domestic box office collection to 8.21 crores after 4 days. The daily collection of the movie in its first week is as follows: Fri 96 lakhs, Sat 2.52 cr, Sun 3.42 cr, Mon 1.31 cr.

There is a report that the screen count of Newton has been increased by 450 in multiplexes, so the collection is going to remain steady in the upcoming days. Looking at the current trend, it seems that the first week collection may be about 12-13 crores.
