Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat witnessed an unprecedented growth on second Saturday and Sunday. The film is not running in all states, but it was able to garner a humongous total in the second weekend. The film will lose about 30-40 crores because of the ban in some states, otherwise, it would have crossed 300 crores in its lifetime.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 46 crores in the second weekend and 7 crores on second Monday to take its total domestic box office collection to 219.50 crores. The daily collection of the film in its second week is as follows: Fri 10 cr, Sat 16 cr, Sun 20 cr, Mon 7 cr.

The film has 3 more days to earn in big numbers and then it will lose its screens to the new release, Padman. Looking at the current trend at the box office, it seems that it might cross 240 crores at the end of the second week. After that, it might add another 30-40 crores to its kitty and the lifetime collection may be 275-280 crores. The film is going to be biggest grosser for all of its stars: Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.
