R. Madhavan’s latest movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect did not have a good opening at the Indian box office. The film has been released in multiple languages but did not perform well in any region. The pre-release buzz of the movie was quite good and positive. However, the buzz did not convert into business. The film now has to rely on word-of-mouth publicity to post a decent total at the box office. A good lifetime collection may not be within its reach due to a poor opening. Per our estimate, the film should collect 4-5 crores in its first weekend and 8-10 crores in its lifetime.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is an Indian biographical drama film based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The film is written, produced, and directed by R. Madhavan, who also plays the lead role. The film also features Simran, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, and Gulshan Grover in supporting roles. The film was theatrically released on 1 July 2022 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
