Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie Sanju will become his biggest hit in just 7 days. The film is on a record-breaking spree since its opening day and should cross 200 crores on first Thursday. The daily collection during weekdays is more than 15 crores which is a good sign for the film in long run.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 18.90 crores on first Wednesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 186.41 crores after 6 days. The drop in the collection during weekdays is very minimal and if the trend continues, it should not find any hurdle in crossing 200 crores on Thursday. The word of mouth for the movie is extremely positive, so the second-weekend collection is also going to be humongous.
Sharing the latest box office figures of Sanju on Twitter, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Sanju is UNSTOPPABLE… Expected to cross ₹ 200 cr today [Thu]… Will be Ranbir’s first film in ₹ 200 cr Club… Fri 34.75 cr, Sat 38.60 cr, Sun 46.71 cr, Mon 25.35 cr, Tue 22.10 cr, Wed 18.90 cr. Total: ₹ 186.41 cr. India biz.”
Sanju registered the highest opening for any film released in India this year. On its third day, it earned the highest single day collection ever for a Hindi film in India. Sanju also features Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Jim Sarbh.
