Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju is slowly marching towards the 3rd spot in the list of highest grossing Bollywood movies. The film has lost a large percentage of its screens in the fourth week, but the daily collection is still more than 1 crore. Like previous weekends, it had a huge growth (about 70%) in the collection on Saturday compared with Friday.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 2.30 crores on fourth Saturday to take its total domestic box office collection to 330.52 crores after 23 days. Looking at the current trend at bookmyshow, it seems that the film will cross 333 crores at the end of the fourth weekend. The film is now just 10 crores away from the 3rd spot and it should reach there by the end of the fifth week or weekend depending on its progression during weekdays.
The new release Dhadak affected its collection in the fourth weekend, otherwise, it would have reached the third spot in the fourth week. After Babubali 2, Sanju is the second film to cross 300 crores without any holiday or long weekend.
