Sanju Has Excellent Third Weekend | Day 17 Box Office Collection

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film, Sanju, has already earned ‘All Time Blockbuster’ tag, but its juggernaut at the box office is intact despite competitions from new releases. The film has lost about 2000 screens in its third week, but it is still getting huge footfalls in theaters. Sanju day 17 box office collection

As per the box office reports, the film amassed about 21.46 crores in the third weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 316.64 crores after 17 days. After Bahubali 2, Sanju is the second film that became ‘All Time Blockbuster’ without any long weekend or holiday. All other films in the list of highest grossers are holiday releases. If it had got a long weekend or holiday, it might have touched 450 crores in its lifetime.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the third-weekend collection of Sanju on twitter. “#Sanju crosses ₹ 300 cr mark… Remained ROCK-STEADY in Weekend 3, despite new films eating into the market share… Is now the 6TH HIGHEST GROSSING *Hindi* film… [Week 3] Fri 4.42 cr, Sat 7.75 cr, Sun 9.29 cr. Total: ₹ 316.64 cr. India biz.“, he wrote.

The Rajkumar Hirani directorial has broken several records since the day of its release. Apart from being the highest weekend opener, it is also the highest grosser of the year. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer is expected to topple PK from the third position in the list of all time highest grossers in its fourth weekend. Depending on its progression during weekdays, it will be clear whether or not Sanju will challenge Aamir Khan’s Dangal in its lifetime.

The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Week 1: ₹ 202.51 cr
Week 2: ₹ 92.67 cr
Friday (Day 15): ₹ 4.42 cr
Saturday (Day 16): ₹ 7.75 cr
Sunday (Day 17): ₹ 9.29 cr
Total: ₹ 316.64 cr ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER
