Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film Sanju has been unstoppable at the ticket counters since its opening day. The film shattered many box office records on its way and is now eyeing the third spot in the list of highest grossing Hindi films. Because of several new releases, the collection dropped significantly in the fourth week but enormous collection in the first two weeks will help it to achieve the feat.
As per the box office reports, the film earned about 1.12 crores on Monday and 90 lakhs on Tuesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 335.57 crores after 26 days. The earnings on Wednesday and Tuesday will also be less than 1 crore, which means it will surpass the lifetime collection of PK and Tiger Zinda Hai in the fifth week. The film has lost a large percentage of its screens and it will again lose many screens this week due to Sanjay Datt’s Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3. Sanju might miss 350 crores mark but it should reach 345 crores mark in its lifetime.
