After crossing 150 crore in the very first week, Rohit Shetty’s Simmba is now heading for a big total in the second week. The decline in the collection on second Friday is very minimal compared to Thursday which shows the kind of love the audience is showering on the film.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 9.02 crore on second Friday to take its total domestic box office collection to 159.83 crore after 8 days. The collection should be around 185 crore by the end of the second weekend. This will help the movie to score a double century in the second week. It will have tough competition from new releases Uri and The Accidental Prime Minister on third Friday, but will still have some screens to garner a decent total in the third week. Simmba has the potential to become the biggest grosser for Rohit Shetty. By the end of the second week, the lifetime collection will be clear.
