Rohit Shetty’s latest action flick Simmba is all set to become his biggest grosser in the third week. The film has been on a rampage at the box office since its opening day and now it may go past even 240 crore in its lifetime.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 12.41 crore in the third weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 224.84 crore after 17 days. It had tough competition from Uri and TAPM in the third weekend, but the collection suggests that it survived the competition. The film should add 7-8 crore to its kitty in the remaining 4 days of the third week. 240 crore in the lifetime seems an achievable target, however, 250 crore will depend on the performance of the new releases in its fourth week.
