Luv Ranjan’s comedy film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has surprised almost all trade pundits by crossing the century mark. The film does not feature any well-known actor or actress, but it managed to do an excellent business in the domestic market. Despite facing competition from several new releases, it is still adding a few lakhs to its kitty on a daily basis.
As per the box office reports, the film collected 1.69 crores in the sixth week to take its total domestic box office collection to 108.46 crores. The daily collection in its sixth week is as follows: Fri 28 lakhs, Sat 34 lakhs, Sun 42 lakhs, Mon 18 lakhs, Tue 16 lakhs, Wed 17 lakhs, Thu 14 lakhs.

Now it is running on a very small number of screens, but the trend suggests that it might touch 110 crores in its lifetime. The fourth collaboration between Ranjan and the lead actors Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha has emerged as a commercial success at the ticket counter. The film received mixed reviews; while the critics praised the humor, they were critical of the misogynistic plot.
