Soorma Crosses 30 Crores Mark | Day 17 Box Office Collection

Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu starrer Soorma has somehow managed to cross 30 crores mark at the box office in the third weekend. The film had an average collection in its opening week and it seemed that it might fall below 30 crores. As per the box office reports, the film earned 1.85 crores in the third weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 30.11 crores after 17 days. The budget for the film is only 25 crores, so it finally became a profitable venture for the makers.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted out the figures. “#Soorma crosses ₹ 30 cr mark… Biz saw an upward trend on third Sat and Sun… [Week 3] Fri 35 lakhs, Sat 70 lakhs, Sun 80 lakhs. Total: ₹ 30.11 cr. India biz.“, he wrote.

The film will probably end its theatrical run by this week as three Bollywood films-Mulk, Karwaan and Fanney Khan are releasing this Friday at the box office. So, the lifetime collection should be about 31 crores.

The box office collection of the film is as follows:
Week 1: ₹ 21.21 cr
Week 2: ₹ 7.05 cr
Friday (Day 15): ₹ 35 lakhs
Saturday (Day 16): ₹ 70 lakhs
Sunday (Day 17): ₹ 80 lakhs
Total: ₹ 30.11 cr
