Soorma Second Weekend Box Office Collection | Movie Showed Good Growth on Saturday and Sunday

Despite facing competition from new release Dhadak and several old releases, Diljit Dosanjh’s Soorma managed to remain steady in its second weekend at the box office. In fact, the film showed a good growth on Saturday and Sunday at the ticket windows. Soorma Second Weekend Box Office Collection

As per the box office reports, the film earned 4.45 crores in the second weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 25.66 crores after 10 days. The film had a below average opening, but positive word of mouth helped it to recover the cost. It should add another 4-5 crore and the lifetime collection will be 29-30 crores.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the second-weekend box office collection of the film on Twitter. “#Soorma slowed down on second Fri, but picked up again on second Sat and Sun… [Week 2] Fri 85 lakhs, Sat 1.60 cr, Sun 2 cr. Total: ₹ 25.66 cr. India biz.“, he wrote.

The film has garnered a lot of positive response from both critics and moviegoers, which helped it to hold well at the ticket windows. It is directed by Shaad Ali, who previously helmed films like Saathiya, Bunty Aur Babli, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and others. The film is produced by Sony Pictures Networks India and The CS Films and also stars Angad Bedi, Kulbhushar Kharbanda and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles.

Week 1: ₹ 21.21 cr
Friday (Day 8): ₹ 0.85 cr
Saturday (Day 9): ₹ 1.60 cr
Sunday (Day 10): ₹ 2.00 cr
Total: ₹ 25.66 cr
