Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Pankaj Tripathi starrer latest film Stree remained rock steady on Wednesday. The collection witnessed about 3% jump compared to Tuesday and is now heading towards 60+ crores in the first week. The film has surpassed all expectations and it might join the 100 crores club in its lifetime.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 6.55 crores on Wednesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 54.89 crores after 6 days. The current trend suggests that 60 crores should be an easy target for the movie in its first week.
Sharing the latest box office figures of Stree on Twitter, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Stree is SUPER-STRONG on Day 6… Wed biz is HIGHER than Tue and almost at par with Fri… Truly UNSTOPPABLE… Fri 6.83 cr, Sat 10.87 cr, Sun 14.57 cr, Mon 9.70 cr, Tue 6.37 cr, Wed 6.55 cr. Total: ₹ 54.89 cr. India biz.”
Stree, produced by Dinesh Vijan, was written by filmmakers Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru. The movie also stars Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee. With a total collection of Rs 54.89 crores within just six days, Stree has almost demolished all its competitors at the box office.
