Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s horror comedy film Stree is all set to become the fifth highest earner of 2018 replacing Alia Bhatt’s Raazi. Despite facing competition from new release Batti Gul Meter Chalu, the film earned more than 6 crore in its fourth weekend.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 6.42 crore in the fourth weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 119.09 crore after 24 days. Alia Bhatt’s Raazi had collected ~123 crore at the Indian box office and Stree is expected to cross 125 crore in its fifth weekend. Stree has already beaten Akshay Kumar’s GOLD by a huge margin.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest business figures of Stree on his Twitter account. “#Stree is UNBEATABLE… This film continues to surprise and shock with its incredible biz… [Week 4] Fri 1.51 cr, Sat 2.05 cr, Sun 2.86 cr. Total: ₹ 119.09 cr. India biz.”, he wrote
