Despite getting bad reviews from both critics and moviegoers, Tiger Shroff’s latest movie Student of the Year 2 did decent business in its first weekend at the box office. The collection of the movie was badly affected on Sunday because of the final IPL match, otherwise, it would have crossed 40 crore.
As per the box office reports, the film earned 38.83 crore in the first weekend. Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyar De will release on next Friday, so it needs to remain steady during weekdays to post a good total in the lifetime. However, 100 crore is now out of the equation and the film has to settle at 70-80 crore.
The box office collection of Student of the Year 2 is as follows:
Friday (Day 1): ₹ 12.06 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 14.02 cr
Sunday (Day 3): ₹ 12.75 cr
Total: ₹ 38.83 cr
