Student of the Year 2 Underperforms in First Week | Movie Scores Half-Century

Despite getting thrashed by critics and moviegoers, Tiger Shroff’s Student of the Year 2 scored a half-century in its first week at the box office. The film was also affected by the final match of IPL on Sunday, otherwise, it might have collected 62-65 crore in first seven days.

As per the box office reports, the first-week collection of the film is 57.90 crore. Now it will face competition from Avengers and De De Pyaar De, so its further journey is not going to be smooth. It needs 10-12 crore in the second weekend to reach a decent total in its lifetime. The budget of the film is about 80 crore, so distributors may not recover their investments. However, the film will be declared ‘Average+’ if it goes past 75 crore.
