Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga enjoyed more than 30% jump in the collection on Sunday. The film, which had an average opening because of Asia Cup final, witnessed good growth on both Saturday and Sunday. 
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 16.05 crore on first Sunday to take its total domestic box office collection to 36.60 crore after 3 days. The film is performing extremely well in all regions. It has been released on only 2500 screens, so these numbers are really big. Also, Tuesday is a national holiday in India, so the collection may again go past 10 crore on that day. In the worst case, it is looking for 60 crore in the very first week.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection of the movie on twitter. “#SuiDhaaga witnesses EXCELLENT GROWTH… Day 2 + Day 3 biz is a clear indicator that its target audience [families] have helped multiply the biz… Day 3 is *almost double* of Day 1… Fri 8.30 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.05 cr. Total: ₹ 36.60 cr [2500 screens]. India biz.“, he wrote.
