Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai enjoyed an unprecedented collection on its first Sunday. Riding on positive reviews and word of mouth publicity, the film recorded the second highest day of all time on Sunday and the highest ever for the Hindi film industry. Although the film could not challenge the first-weekend collection of Bahubali 2, it came very close to latter’s Sunday collection.
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 45.53 crores on first Sunday to take its total domestic box office collection to 114.93 crores after three days. The daily collection of the film in the first weekend is as follows: Fri 34.10 cr, Sat 35.30 cr, Sun 45.53 cr.
Salman versus Salman – first 3 days…#BajrangiBhaijaan ₹ 102.60 cr [Fri-Sun]#Sultan ₹ 105.53 cr [released on Wed; Wed-Fri]#Tubelight ₹ 64.77 cr [Fri-Sun]#TigerZindaHai ₹ 114.93 cr [Fri-Sun] #TZH

The film is all set to go beyond 150 crores on Monday as it is a big holiday in India. The film will definitely cross 250 crores and might join the 300-crore club in its lifetime. Most of Salman’s films create havoc at the box office in the first week and witness major drop starting from the second week because of average contents. Also, moviegoers usually do not go to theaters to watch an action movie multiple times. So, if TZH does not follow the path of other films of Salman, it might challenge the lifetime collection of Dangal.
