Riding on positive word of mouth publicity, director Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha witnessed a humongous growth in the collection on Tuesday. The collection on Tuesday jumped more than 70% compared to Monday because of national holiday. This enormous growth proves that moviegoers have fell in love with the content of the film, which means the lifetime collection might cross Akshay Kumar’s previous best, Rowdy Rathore .
As per the box office reports, the film amassed 20.50 crores on Tuesday to take its total domestic box office collection to 83.95 crores in five days. The daily collection of the movie is as follows:
Day 1: 13.10 Crores, Day 2: 17.10 Crores, Day 3: 21.25 Crores, Day 4: 12 Crores, Day 5: 20.50 Crores
1st Wknd : 51.45 cr
Mon : 12 cr
Ind Day : 20.50 cr
Total – ₹ 83.95 cr

The collection on Wednesday will drop as it is a working day in India, but the way it is performing in small cities, there is a very little chance that the film will witness a big drop in the collection on sixth day. As the film is just 16 crores away from its century, it may touch that landmark in the very first week. Second weekend is going to be very crucial for the lifetime collection of the film. Both Airlift and Rustom had performed extremely well in first week, but they could not cross the lifetime collection of Rowdy Rathore because of huge drop in second week. Hope that does not repeat for TEPK and it becomes the biggest grosser for Akshay Kumar.
