Why Cheat India Drops on Monday | The Accidental Prime Minister Decent on Day 11

From the weekend collection, it was evident that Emraan Hashmi starrer Why Cheat India will struggle during the weekdays, but a huge drop on Monday was unexpected. The film failed to score even 1 crore on first Monday which is not a good sign for the lifetime collection.

As per the box office reports, the film earned merely 85 lakh on first Monday to take its total domestic box office collection to 7.65 crore. Uri wave has gripped the nation and hence other movies are feeling the heat. At the current pace, Why Cheat India may not go beyond 12-crore mark in its lifetime.

Anupam Kher’s The Accidental Prime Minister has also lost its charm because of Uri and the film is now struggling at the box office. The budget of the movie is about 22 crore, which means it will earn a few crore for its makers. The current total domestic box office collection of TAPM is 28.40 crore and it should cross 30 crore by the end of the second week.
