After posting a disastrous opening on Friday, Emraan Hashmi starrer Why Cheat India remained dull during the weekend. Because of the fever of Uri, Why Cheat India failed to find many takers at the ticket windows.

As per the box office reports, Why Cheat India earned merely 6.80 crore in its first week. With such poor collection in the very first week, the film is all set to join the list of flop movies. It will meet a new competitor in form of Manikarnika on its second Friday, so its box office journey will finish at 10-12 crore.

Friday (Day 1): ₹ 1.71 cr
Saturday (Day 2): ₹ 2.45 cr
Sunday (Day 3): ₹ 2.64 cr
Total: ₹ 6.80 cr Disaster

Anupam Kher’s The Accidental Prime Minister did gain some momentum during the weekend and now it may cross 30 crore in its lifetime. It earned 3.95 crore in the second weekend to take its total domestic box office collection to 27.85 crore. Like WCI, the collection of TAPM also got affected due to Uri.
