Emraan Hashmi’s latest release Why Cheat India failed miserably at the box office as it could not collect even 10 crore in first seven days. Despite getting good ratings from movie critics, the film could not get the desired number of footfalls at the ticket windows.
As per the box office reports, the film earned merely 9 crore in its first week. As the film has tough competition from Uri as well as Manikarnika in the second week, it might end its box office journey at 11-12 crore.

Anupam Kher’s The Accidental Prime Minister also struggled in the second week as the film collected only 5.60 crore. The total domestic box office collection of TAPM is 29.50 crore at the end of the second week. Both TAPM and WCI got affected because of Uri wave as moviegoers are still thronging theaters to watch the patriotic film.
